Things to Consider Before Hire Lighting 2019-09-28 10:49:33

Before you hire lighting for an event, see if they are appropriate to the occasion. Is it a wedding, birthday, awards dinner, office party or some other event. Once you have the event in mind, see what area the event is going to take place in; church, hotel ballroom, convention center, etc.

After this you need to see how the room is going to be decorated. Will it have center pieces? Would there be food served? Will it be a buffet or sit down? Would there be dancing? Is there a theme? In general you need to know the complete details of the event before you start what can often be the laborious task of hiring lighting.

Once you have all the details it is best to make a layout of the area where the event has to take place. You can use CAD (computer aided design) software for this. On this layout you can place the lights where they are appropriate. Big lights are usually placed near the walls and ceilings.

Lighting the center pieces, floral arrangements and bars can make the whole event look livelier. You do not want a lot of light. Lighting the bulbs to the maximum can be just as bad as having a room barely lit. Use a room wash if possible. It helps in lighting the room just the right way. The light is enough for people to see each other and the food and is not blinding.

HC Stage lighting is specializing in led par lights, outdoor battery lights, led gobo moving head and so on, feel free to contact us for more details.
